Moab Red is also known as Cherokee Red, Red Cliff and Utah Red among other names.
These richly colored red boulders are medium to large sandstone quartzite with a reddish-brown color that is characteristic of the majestic rock features found in Zion National Park, Moab and the other grand natural wonders of Utah. This stone is not actually harvested from Moab but has that same vibrant color and texture as the stone found there. These boulders are often used in outdoor landscaping projects to create bold and dramatic features, such as retaining walls, waterfalls, and accent pieces.
