Gold Decomposed Granite Bocce Ball Court High-Speed Surface The installation of an Italian Bocce Ball Court provides an excellent way to spend afternoons and evenings having backyard fun with family and friends. Traditionally Bocce Ball courts are covered with a 2 to 3-inch layer of crushed oyster shell spread that has been blended with decomposed granite or crushed stone fines. After that has been done a layer of finely crushed oyster shell flour is often applied. We supply all of these materials for court installations and for seasonal maintenance. Those surfaces provide a smooth fast and accurate ball speed.
Gold D. G. Fines Surface Cover - Hard and Very Fast! Our specially screened Golden Queen Decomposed Granite 1/4" minus can be used largely to full size for bocce players to enjoy a very fast hard smooth surface. Balls moving at high speeds like this really need full-size courts ranging from 70 to 91 feet long and 10 to 13 feet wide. The Gold D. G. fines are blended with 12 pounds of Dee Gee Stabilizer per ton of material. We suggest adding the same amount of Dee Gee Stabilizer each year after winter rains during regular maintenance practices.
Shipping In California, Arizona, and Nevada blended materials are shipped bulk amounts up to 25 tons. Smaller orders in 2,000 and 3,000-pound SuperEarth-sacks and can be shipped anywhere in the USA and Canada.
