In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons. Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.
Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.

Grey Wolf Flagstone Patio 2"
From rustic to modern, this will definitely elevate your outdoor ambiance. It is ideal for DIY patios, large patios and decking, veneering retaining walls and outdoor kitchens, and stepping stones, and can be stacked to create flower bed borders also. Flagstone patios are created by random designs, many pavers are specific cuts. Its edges and uneven surface, give it a beautiful texture. This type of flagstone is extremely low maintenance and highly durable.
This thick cut stone, 2" or more like this can be installed on a concrete or cement slab, and decomposed granite or rock base or set into the soil on a pathway. Plus, large size pieces create nice aesthetic with excellent coverage and functionality. It works excellent as a veneer option for patios and flooring
“2” Patio” flagstone comes in pieces that range from the size of a dinner plate up to 2x3’. This stone is all generally 2” thick, and very easy to install and doesn’t require any experience. It requires little base prep, and works great for DIY patios, stepping stones, pool coping, outdoor kitchens, wall/column caps, mortared benches, laid stone walls, and fireplaces. and many more applications where a thicker stone is desirable with a maximum coverage.
Its installation works well on almost any base/surface.
There is always going to be slight variance of square footage from pallet to pallet even if the weights are similar. The square foot coverage per ton of flagstone will vary with each project. Desgins of the project, the average stone thickness, size of joints, pattern cuts, waste etc. will effect area coverage. The information is based on average full pallets weights.
