Silver Grey Granite is richly patterned with a darker salt and pepper finish than you get from lighter granites, so it reads as a defined, speckled stone rather than as a flat grey mass. That patterning is what lets a grey boulder still carry visual interest in a planting.

It comes two ways, and the choice matters. Blasted irregular granite gives angular faces and sharp edges for a quarried look, while river washed granite gives smooth rounded surfaces for creek beds and water features.
