Shipping & Breakage Disclaimer
Please note that while we take great care in packaging your paver order, pavers are inherently fragile and may experience breakage, especially during out-of-state shipping. This is due to factors outside our control, including handling by third-party carriers.
We strongly recommend that all customers — particularly those shipping outside of California — order additional pavers (typically 5–10% extra) to account for potential breakage during transit.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the risk of breakage in transit and agree that we are not responsible for any damage that occurs after the product leaves our facility.
Architects, public agencies, contractors and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, amount and date needed and buyers contact information.

Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Product Photos

Variations in industry or branded product names, color and texture do occur and are part of what make these building products so unique. Please use the photographs within these pages only as a guide. These images depict building materials products that have been, crushed, cut, shaped or manufactured to achieve the visual and structural requirements for landscape or structural building construction. Photos of materials in actual landscapes or buildings reflect craftsmanship and other factors that may have changed the appearance of the delivered material. Additional weather and lighting conditions at the time each photo was taken and the limits of different computer screen resolution, can and do effect the appearance. Therefore, we cannot guarantee and buyer agrees that seller and seller's agents have no liability to match purchased materials against any of the images contained herein. Photos are of materials as specified in product description are provided by our staff, vendors or agents on the behalf of all parties from the quarry, manufacture or vendor of these products or our own in field photos and product analysis and represent the specified product but may not be of actual inventory on hand during any given period of time. Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.
Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
