Gold Bocce Court Oystershell Blend Dry Climate Spread
A premium custom blend with California's finest gold decomposed granite, Golden Queen 1/4" minus D. G.
Price Per Ton For Truck Load Shipments of 8 to 25 Tons.

The installation of an Italian Bocce Ball Court provides an excellent way to spend afternoons and evenings having back yard fun with family, friends and business associates.
A premium custom blend with California's finest gold decomposed granite, Golden Queen 1/4" minus D. G. and exclusive marine composted oystershell.
Traditionally Bocce Ball courts are covered with a 2 to 3 inch layer of crushed oyster shell spread that has been blended with decomposed granite in a very fine 1/4" minus screen size. In regions with high spring and summer rainfall it is advisable to use a greater percentage of oystershell and washed concrete sand for improved drainage and ease of maintenance.
After the installation of the playing surface has been done a layer of finely crushed oystershell flour is often applied.
The role that oystershell plays in bocce court surface mixtures is to keep the decomposed granite from binding together becoming extremely hard and un-workable for grooming. The oystershell flakes keep the decomposed granite from completely binding together. Through the normal course of play; ruts, troughs and material displacement takes place.
Our
decomposed granite oyster shell blend is in traditional Italian bocce ball court surface formula. When groomed out it makes a smooth solid surface to play on. When play is completed it makes for an easy surface to quickly renovate.
We are also able to ship all of the other materials needed for installation and maintenance to you.
Installation and maintenance services are available.
Free rental tools are available to assist with the installation.
Oystershell Flour
Oystershell flour is applied over the top of the finished court surface at the rate of 1/4 to 1/2 pound per square foot resulting in a thin
layer of finely crushed oyster shell flour for a very smooth playing surface.

Product Specifications and Uses
Bocce Ball Court Pro Oystershell & Decomposed Granite Blends
We offer two different Bocce Ball Court Oystershell Blends, a dry climate (DC) and a wet climate (WC). The Bocce Court Pro Bocce Ball Court Oystershell Blend materials are ideal for climates they are mixed for. While the materials are at different ratios the application rates are the same

Wet Climate Blend
The Bocce Ball Court Oystershell Blend WC is ideal for regular rainfall climates such most northern portions of California and Pacific Northwest, Upper Midwest and other regions where regular to heavy rainfall requires a light blend that will not become hard and compacted. The Wet Climate blend is slightly more expensive since it contains a high percentage of crushed oyster shells to lesson compaction that would otherwise result from regular or heavy periods of rainfall.
Dry Climate Blend
The Bocce Ball Court Oystershell Blend DC is ideal for regular rainfall climates like most of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and West Texas. The Dry Climate blend is less expensive since a lower amount of crushed oyster shell is required to maintain desirable court conditions.
One Ton of Bocce Ball Court Spread Covers:
120 square feet - 2" deep. Thins out over short amount of time.
100 square feet - 2-1/2" deep. Good coverage.
90 square feet - 3" deep. Ideal long term coverage.

The square foot coverage per ton of material will vary slightly with the surface and designs of the project, waste etc. will affect area coverage. The information is based on average ton and cubic yard amounts. This decorative building stone has naturally occurring colors and shade variations. These are what gives this stone the natural beauty and uniqueness that causes its appeal. Color tones change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed at therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur. During processing or transportation dust will adhere to the rocks and change its appearance on arrival but we guarantee all stone to be true to the specific brand name, type and size ordered or complete exchange including transportation costs will be made.
