Mariposa Slate, also known as Yosemite Slate is an argillite flagstone that does not bleed or fade. This stone has high silicate content, color, and densities making it stand out among other natural stones. Other examples are Three Rivers Flagstone that is quarried from argillite layers and Utah argillite slate flagstone.
