Apache Pink Decorative Landscape Gravel 3/4" Per 1 Yard SuperEarth-Sack
1 yard is approximately 3000 pounds.
Our cover photo is Apache Pink crush decorative gravel.
A unique blend of pink, red, and gold colors in pastel tones make this stone an outstanding choice for many gardens and landscapes.
This material is quarried in Central Arizona and ships in bulk throughout Arizona and Southern California. Can ship in super sacks on flatbeds throughout California.
The use of decorative rock as a landscape ground cover or rock mulch to save water needs to be attractive to be effective.3/4" rock works great in very large planter beds and is an important design element in large residential and commercial landscapes.

As a general rule 1 ton, 2,000 pounds of 3/4" gravel, crushed rock and decomposed granite will cover a little over 100 square feet of a ground area at a 2" depth.
As a general rule 1 cubic yard of 3/4" of gravel, crushed stone and decomposed granite will cover 160 square feet in a 2" inch layer.

Using decorative rock, decomposed granite, crushed stone, and gravel in your landscaping saves your time and money but should also increase property value. The grass is great and a healthy lawn is a vital part of most homes, but usually best for small areas in the back yard to relax on. In front and side landscape area it requires regular mowing, fertilizer, and irrigation that can be eliminated.

Landscape supply yards are infamous for providing buyers with horrible rates of measurement. In nearly all cases they tell you that "their" scoop or skip is the best deal around and that they always give a little extra. Nothing could be further from the truth. All companies that buy at the wholesale level in our industry pay for their rock by the ton. When buy rock by the tone you are buying value, not hype.

Almost any quarry that sells quality rock with a good reputation has a certified scale for weighing large truck loads of rock material. Each "scale house" or "weigh master" issues a weight ticket for the truck passing over the scale. Selling materials by mythical measurements such as the "scoop" or "skip" is the snake oil salesman in the rock yard method for making a quick buck off buyers.
When you pay for materials by ton you know exactly what you are getting. We strongly urge buyer's to request a scale receipt for their orders and not the word of the tractor operator that he put 4 or 5 skips, scoops or yards in the truck.

When ordering use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter ROCK as your payment method.
This will allow you to create an order for a firm transportation quote without having to pay for it at this time. While we have posted transport rates, in many circumstances we are able to ship the order to you for less. You will be given a firm cost on the whole order within a few minutes to a few hours.
