Sockeye is an American quartzite stone that feature deep burgundies, warm golds and rusts, all highlighted by soft creams and grays. Sockeye Quartzite Flagstone color features are elegant and dramatic and great for use to build inviting driveways and entries and for elegant patios and pool decks. For visual continuity consider using indoors as flooring leading to your outdoor space. It can be used as a wall veneer to clad dividing walls and planters.
Sockeye Red Quartzite is quarried and process into Select and Patio grade flagstone, ledgestone and other products with both natural clefting and tumbled finishes.

This stone is also is available in ledge material, saw cut material and sometimes as boulders.
Standup and Patio flagstone that is 1" thickness is best installed on a concrete base with mortar and is typically are best install by an experienced mason.
Standup and Patio flagstone that is 2" thickness is good with either a concrete base or a sand, gravel, decomposed granite or cement a base is easily installed in landscapes by people with basic home improvement skills.
There is always going to be slight variance of square footage from pallet to pallet even if the weights are similar. The square foot coverage per ton of flagstone will vary with each project. Designs of the project, the average stone thickness, size of joints, pattern cuts, waste etc. will effect area coverage.
