This quarry produces rock from a mixture of very hard granite and dolostone with very strong boldly rose and brown colored mineral patinas coating on the sides of the rock. The color of the patina varies from purple-black tar balsamic vinegar to white sugar dusting to copper brown against the rocks.
This is an excellent desert scape rock that improves with age due to sun exposure on the mineral patina.
Auburn Brown Boulders, being a dolostone rock, is not suitable for water features.
